  1. well, we had to bottle 4 baby kittens and they don't like to be left alone. They are hard, but at the same time, you love them so much, you don't care how much work it takes. i've never raised dogs though, so i can't help you with the dog part of the question.

  2. dogs are easier to foster...but over all they are kinda hard....because with out moms immune system increasing milk many babies will die...hand raised babies are great pets but yu probably will only end up saving half or less of the litter.

  3. I fostered kittens and cats for 5 years. If you don't mind diarrhea, sneezing, congestion, runny eyes, shots, medicine, and a lot of mess, it can be really fun. If you rescue/foster feral or wild cats, they come with lots of sicknesses. Like I said above. So it's not all cute and cuddly. You have to be very knowledgeable about cat symptoms and signs, sicknesses, how to give medicine, and how to treat a sickness. You need a lot of time too. At least 3-5 hours a day should be devoted to them. Cleaning, holding, playing, exercising, socializing, and taking care of sickness. And they all have to be loved the same way. You can't just fall in love with one of a litter of 7. You also can't have circumstances, like age, gender, color, breed, size. You just have to take them as they are and love them no matter what. It is a lot like being a parent with 5-7 kids. It is a lot of work but also rewarding.

    Hoped that helped!
