How hard is it to be a marine?

Question

My BF is a law student and marine lieutenant. Sometimes, I think he is spoiled because his mom and dad provide many things for him.

Unlike me to have to work hard and do things for myself because my parents are poor.

Is it hard to be a marine?

It's physically and emotionally hard during the boot camp only. After that, he's good to go. Generally, people respond differently to different things

41 of us graduated.

It is far from easy

Did you hear about the U.S. marine who was captured by Iraqi insurgents?  Apparently everything was fine until he lost his head!

after you get through boot camp and SOI or MCT, its a slide downhill from there....im not going to tell you every experience, but it does get a little more comfortable after training....good luck and Semper Fi!...
