Hi, I'm looking at attending Temple University, and although I've been to Philly many times, I've never used SEPTA. I'm wondering if it's too hard to live without a car in the city. I'm from New Mexico, so I know it must be better than anything we have here. I would like to sell or leave my car here, so that I wont be hassled with having to keep up with it, parking, etc. How reliable is the subway and trolley services? Also, are the buses reliable?

  1. I've lived in philly most of my life, it'll take some getting used to riding septa, but they'll actually help you if u call them (215-580-7800) or go to septa.org, they will help u plan out ur days trip! We do have one of the highest fares in the country, but it works for us!
