  1. When you know how to buy cheap, the selling happens by itself!

So, learn how/where to buy cheap, the rest won't matter.

    Here's a good read http://real-estate-investing.guidearticl...

  2. Its not so hard.  You take a specific course (about 80 hours of course work where I am) and them have to pass a test, but thats it.  Once you pass the test you affiliate with a real estate company and start working.  Outgoing, salesman personalities work the best.  The course work gives you a good foundation, but it takes years to learn all the ins and outs but even with just the coursework you can probably do ok at most basic things.

  3. You need to be very friendly, have a great personality, and very good at sales.  You are mostly selling, yourself.

There is no educational requirement.  I do not think that you need to graduate high school.  As I recall, you need to take a class and pass a test.  As an agent, you will need to take more real estate related classes.  You may want to contact the state and find out the educational requirements.

When I joined the brokerage, I had to pay $3,000.  This was supposed to be paid every three or four months.  They wanted me to buy business cards, signs, and asked me to pay for a web site.  It seemed that every week, they wanted me to buy something else.

8 or so agents (out of 80) made all of the money at the brokerage.  As I understand, you may need to invest three to five years before you can support yourself.  You are in business for yourself and make money by helping someone buy or sell real estate.
