How hard is it to become a great artist?

im learning guitar, im going to form a band more into the future...i would do anything to make it big, but what do i have to do?

many people wont make it big, but if you get some talented people together, start playing local shows as much as you can, get in touch with a record company, etc. that is how youll have at least a chance of doing it.
