How hard is it to become a high school health teacher?

I want to do this. Right now I'm a social studies teaching credential candidate in LA and it is really hard finding a job. I figure this would also be hard considering that a school only needs like 2-3 of them, depending on the size of the school.

because there are plenty of jobs. I have worked in urban La all my career and wouldnt work anywhere else - you are never going to know what you are missing.

Yes, if you cant find a social studies job in the suburbs - you will never find a health job. Both however are available in the city.
