Question:

How hard is it to become pregnant with only one tube open?

i mean, does the sperm travel through both tubes or?

my right tube is blocked and my left is open! is it any harder to become pregnant?

  1. You should google it, there is a lot of info out there saying basically each month your ovaries fight to release an egg, but since you have only one tube it automatically wins.  You should be fine.

The second answer is correct, becuase only one side works it becomes the dominate side.  I am going thru the same thing one is blocked becuase of a prior ectopic and the other side flows fine.  My Dr says that it just depends on the other factors you are dealing with.  It has been about 16 months since my ectopic and I am currently on my second round of clomid 100 mg.  It has been difficult for me but this is not alway the case.

  3. technically it will not eb any HARDER but it would only be possible every other month. your overies take turns each month and the open tube would only be fertile on that time. there is no way to tell which overy is active unless you have an ultrsasound to look for the large bubble they hatch out of.

    my grandmother haad only one tube a overy from being kicked by a horse,.she had 4 kids and no problems.
