  1. Marrying a Dutch man doesn't guarantee you getting Dutch citizenship. In fact some cases you have to be married ten years before you can apply for Dutch citizenship


  2. There are only a few ways to obtain Dutch nationality

    (a) by birth in the country (and one or more parents being legally resident)

    (b) by descent from a Dutch nationality parent
