  1. I got one year to go...and to tell you the truth, sometimes I felt like it was worth nothing, and that I was doing it all for nothing at all....it seemed like I was wasting my time....BUT, it all pays off. One day when you are regarded as an Engineer!! All the lonely nights, headaches, lost love and social lives, boring schedules and no fun finally pays off!

  2. you'll get to burn your midnight candles and prepare to get eyes bags. keep on practicing solving math problems, learn engineering graphics such  AUTOCAD, get headache more often, less attention to love life and lose your girlfriend.

  3. mechanical leads to aerospace.  They are not impossible.  But you better be good at math, and like to solve problems, or you should consider other pursuits.

The first two years are general for all engineers.  You will have a better idea what interests you and don't have to choose until you are a Junior.

    Good luck!

  4. Any worthwhile degree in engineering is "wicked hahd" (yeah, I'm from Massachusetts).  My freshman year (Civil Engineering), the professors told us to "look to the left, look to the right... these are the people that won't be graduating."  And they were right.  It seemed like there were hundreds of engineering freshmen and only dozens at graduation.  Good luck.

  5. It is a lot of work, but it is totally possible and absolutely worth it. Mechanical engineers are in high demand, the job outlook is great, the fields you can go into are almost unlimited. Go for it!
