If you took the SHSAT in 2005-2007 and got into Stuyvesant, had a 98 average in 7th grade and was great at math and English, but weak at scrambled paragraphs-- and managed to get into Stuyvesant... was it CHALLENGING? or A LITTLE, A LOT, NOT AT ALL? The criteria mentioned before, doesn't need to match all of it, mainly if you had a 98 average in 7th grade, and was great at math and good at English. Tell me!! How the test went for YOU exceptionally and was it easy? THANK YOU VERY MUCH. your help is very appreciated and I mean it :)

  1. your average doesnt matter at all

al that you need is a good score on the test

i took the test aced it, and go to stuyvesant without doing well in 8th grade

  2. Dont worry about it. You'll need at least a 560 - 580 to get into stuy.

but then again, you can just go to bronx sci. its a good school too.

and no. the test wasn't that hard. it was kinda easy. Also, your 7th grade average doesn't count unless you want to go to THHS.
