  1. HOW OLD ARE U ?????

  2. Because its union you won't git a starting position as a conductor you should apply for a brake man or switch man position from there you have a minim 2yrs to git in to the conductors seat.

  3. It isnt easy, most people you talk to have applied several times before they get hired.

If you are serious, talk to their human resources people, ask them about a railroad academy, that is no guarantee but it demonstrates a strong desire to work in the railroad industry.

If you get an interview, and they ask if you are willing to relocate, if you cant say YES, the interview is over.

YOu have to be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays and be absolutely drug free as one of the first things they do is screen.

Good luck with it, and be persistent.
