  1. It depends on how good of an ear for music that you have. Some people pick it up faster because of that. If you can go to a piano and plunk around and play a melody, that is a good sign you have an ear for music.

If you want to play simple songs, it is pretty easy to learn. If you want to be a master and be professional quality, it is going to take years. A lot of people can learn the simple chords and rhythms fairly quickly and enjoy playing songs in a few months.  It does take some practice a dedication. It helps to play everyday. I would start with an acoustic guitar, learn chords and rhythm. A real live teacher would be better than a video to start with.  Don't get discouraged, as some do at the beginning.

  2. The most important factor I found was time and patience. Especially if doing it for the first time you have to stretch your fingers and practice chords etc. If you can devote around an hour every day to this then I'm sure you'll be fine. I just didn't have the time and it hurt my fingers but a willingness to learn and dedication go a long way. Good luck and have fun.

  3. Its directly proportional to your intrest n efforts.

Better go to a music school n practice.

    All the best.

  4. This is the web's most popular guitar learning program

    Good Luck

  5. If  you  really  want  to  learn,you  would  in  no  time,you  have  lots  of  time  ....here's a site  for  you  to  start.

chord house....................learn  the  seven  major  chords  and

    start  from  there.

  6. It will take longer the older you are. I tried learning at 13 and couldn't do it, but I was trying to learn on my own. But yeah, it was hard for me. It may not be for you. Give it a shot. You'll never know until you try.

  7. When you're not interested..I already studied how but I'm not interested so i stopped.

  8. really hard it will take u years to learn

  9. i have been learning to play the guitar for just under a year now and you are able to learn much faster if you use an electric guitar like i did because it is not as hard to play with and you can go straight into learning chords and stuff

it isn't that hard if you practise for around 5-10mins everyday you will start to make slow but steady progress

i year later i still enjoy just as much possibly more than i did when i started - it's worth giving it a try, have a go and see if you like it
