How hard is it to secure employment in Australia if you have an in-demand job skill?

I plan on becoming an RN (I live in the USA) with an intention of relocating to Australia to work. I was wondering if they recruit and will help secure a visa, job, housing and such if you plan on staying to work. I have two friends who got student visas and came here from Russia and they said its totally worth it. But I wan to leave the US, not get in........I like Footy!!! I love Koala bears too!!!! Heres hoping I am in kangaroo land soon!

I know having worked in hospitals for a few years that we had quite a few "Traveling Nurses" why don't you try one of those agency's ? See if they have anything in Australia?
