My husband and i have our own buisness. We do flowers and linens for weddings ect. His parents share the shop with us however its GETTING WAY OUT OF HAND. We are constantly fighting and they think we steal money. So. They decided that we will get the money from the linens and they get the money from the flowers and we will split all the bills. However to them splitting the bill is they pay $300.00 out of our $2200 rent each month! for the phone, they only are paying a quarter and the dwp, they only want to pay$50. ITS NOT FAIR. im sick of it. There names arent on the lease or in taxes so technically can they just leave and open their "own" flower shop. Its best if we are seperate. Im so tired of this.

  1. Obviously,  to be fair the whole lot is split four ways: assets, expenses, equity, etc, etc.. This t*t for tat--you get the linens sales and they get the flowers sales--has to stop.

Conspicuously absent in your statement is...What's your husband's role in this? Unless HE steps up to the plate and confronts them and then the FOUR of you sit down and set some ground rules... I don't see any way out of this, other than ride out the lease and in the meantime find a new location...WITHOUT the inlaws...
