  1. I would think that it is definitely more expensive than here in america. But it depends on where you want to study it. Some countries might be a little cheaper. But btw do you want to take it in Europe or where because I think Europe might have more opportunities especially in Italy, France since they have the modelling industry there.

  2. My mom, aunt, & cousin are all in cosmetology.

Theyy allll studied here, & their reallyy good.

My aunt owns her own hair salon, shes awesomee.

She makes actually alot of money too.

Ive been thinking about going into cosmetology,

My friends all make me do their hair & makeup before events,

& my one friend said im doing her makeup on her wedding day lol.

My cousin said it would be best to study here in America.

    It isnt too much, financially.

    I hope i helped a littlee;DD

    Good luckk(:

  3. finacially the dollar is down, so it will cost more abroad. it will be exciting for you to move to a bigger or new city to study. allot of american cities are very multicultural.

  4. Cost wise it's better to study in America. It would be really hard to get everything lined up overseas: like housing, healthcare, insurance, etc...

Go somewhere in the states and then once you've got your license and are working in a salon...that's where you REALLY learn!

    Good luck

  5. I think both are good options.

If you choose to study abroad you'll face a few obstacles, such as learning a new language if you don't know it and the euros are worth much more than the American dollar so considering that, you'll lose money at the start.  If you do go to study abroad I suggest ITALY!!! because each country is known for a certain aspect of beauty, France more fashion and perfumes and Italy has all of those good looking people who dig make up.

This may sound stupid but I think, if you don't know the country's language, learn it at a community college, where you will also learn the culture, currency etc.

So yeah, if you want to go abroad for experience, memories and meeting new people, do it (I'm pretty sure schools abroad and schools here for cosmetology are in equivalence)...but if your more concerned about getting your licence and starting a job right away, stay in America where you will receive experience quicker after HS...

Oh, and I also suggest taking some classes in business and management because ultimately, with combined experience, you can own your own business and become rich, having lipgloss named after you and La Polizia Hairspray whilst I work at Burger King...

It's really up to u...abroad would be funner...I don't know, make memories, not money?

  6. Being an international student is always more expensive.

As an example tuition where I go, is $5,400/year, and the international student tuition is $20,000. Mostly because the government pays for some.

If you were to study cosmetology in France for instance, where higher education is subsidised by the government, you'll likely have to fork over yours and the governments share.

  7. cosmetology? people up here take it in BOCES. and most go off to either college for it, or just get hired straight from BOCES. so i guess in the end its your choice, but i would stay in america to study it.
