  1. not that hard

  2. It all depends. A shorter trailer is harder to back up, but a big trailer you have to swing wider but is easier to back up. It all depends on what kind of trailer, a goosneck is really easier than a normal trailer. But it basically all comes down to how good of a driver you are. If you're a bad driver I wouldn't bother trying, but if you're good it should be no problem.

  3. If your car or truck is equipped to handle the size boat you

intend to haul, make sure you have a trailer towing package

to go with it. And extension mirrors.

And since your trailer tires are "smaller" than your vehicle

tires, make sure you keep them trailer "bearings greased," &

that you have a spare tire, for the trailer, and a license.

Towing is the easy part, It's "backing-up" that is the trick to

    "master."

Day or night, "Always" make sure your brake lights, and back-

    up lights work.

Do not over load the "weight" limit on your trailer, with "stuff."

Don't not forget your maps, and cell phone. And if needed.

    God is your co-pilot. <}:-})

  4. It depends on how big the trailer is.  Like the first answer said a bigger trailer is easier to back up but you have to make wider turns, yet a smaller trailer is harder to back up and can make a turn easier than a bigger trailer.  I've driven the trailer for my company and its not that hard and it depends on how good of a driver you are.  Like how much weight you have in the trailer is going to play a factor in how hard it is, increased braking distance.  Like I said I've pulled a trailer for my boss and it was a landscaping trailer, you have to make wider turns especially while making a right, brake sooner, always watch your mirrors.  Good luck

  5. What weight is the trailer?

If you try to tow a 11/2 ton trailer with a small to mid size car - you'll feel every mile.

The same trailer pulled by a truck .... you won't know it's there.

  6. Not to hard,I didn't see any mention in the answers above of  having electric brakes and some type of anti-sway equipment. One of the worst things when towing a trailer is sway, get a good anti-sway device.

  7. Like almost everyone has stated, it's the backing thats harder to achieve. Just remeber you have to turn oppisite of the way you want your trailer to go, for instance you want to try to allways back on drivers side, it is easier to see what you are doing while backing. just remember, in order to make trailer go to your left, you have to turn your outfit right, then as you are backing you turn back to compensate.  Going forward isn't as easy as all say either, for when you turn you will have offtracking, which is what your trailer will do when you turn so you have to compensate for that  by making your turns a little wider than normal and right hand turns are more difficult than left. All in all, it takes practice to get towing down. Good Luck
