How hard is it to work in a restaurant?

I'm looking for a second job and there are a few restaurants within my area. I'd probably be looking at being a busser/host. I just would like to know how hard it is.

It's only hard if YOU think it will be & not knowing what's expected of you.  Read up on what a busser does on a day to day basis.

Bussing is hard, hosting is a cakewalk. Not physically hard. Stressful. Lots of pressure. All acting, you have to be nice. Can you wait tables? Way better money.

bus host cake if you can deal with people....Serving is another story all together but is easy once you get used to it.  The key is having a thick skin and realizing people can be a******s....

It's very easy to work in a restaurant as long as you are a people person. You will meet alot a great people. Try not to date all the female servers all at once.

It's not particularly hard, but it can be very stressful when you are busy.
