How hard is surfing compared to snowboarding?

surfing is harder to keep your balance

They have very little in common although snowboarding in powder does feel like surfing.  Snowboarding is way easier to learn: your board is stable, gravity does all the work and you don't have to paddle up the mountain or figure out how to catch the hill.

id say snowboarding is easier to lear at first than surfing. but one u can get up on your surfboard riding the waves is easy jsut depends on what maneauvers u pull. snowboarding is probably i little harder to learn tricks on. but yeah surfing is waaaaaay more fun, u cant beat the feeling of riding the smoothness of water. not even deep powder boarding
