I plan on taking it in Oct. but im wondering how difficult is it really? How many times can u take it? If u take it and a school doesnt accept u because of a low score, can u take it again and try to get into that same school with a different score? Whats a good, average, and poor score? Generally speaking, how important is the LSAT?

  1. It is very difficult, and you'll need to do well if you want a realistic chance of getting into a good law school. I think law schools at this point take your highest score, though in the past they averaged them (and it may depend on the exact school--ask a guidance councilor...) Exactly how well you do depends on the school your aiming at (and all law schools publish their 25th-75th percentil scores) with the top law schools averaging scores in the low 170s.

You'll definitely want to spend some time studying. Good luck.
