How hard is the group 1 test insurance exam?

I just came out of the exam. I made a 72%, a passing grade, with minimal studying.

I finished a 3-day course about a week ago, and barely touched anything until 2 days ago. Now a friend of mine is taking it next week and I heavily advised him this:

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. It becomes very risky and you do not want to waste $60 on an exam. Study progressively, meaning do 3-5 chapters every night.

If you have the online packet, I would suggest going through each exam 3x, simulating your exam 2x, and then answering the bonus question exam 2x. If you do this, I have no doubt in my mind that you'll pass.

Good luck, and study at least 20 hours overall to get positive results.

I have my insurance license and I don't know what you're talking about!! :)
