not hard at all, just have to get the correct paint and do the correct prep work..the prep work is what makes the boat look good, more important than the actual paint job.

the cost varies to what condition the hull is in, and what material it is made of. my 24 ft cost me about 250 to paint, not including the bottom paint...you have to buy paint, primer, reducer/thinner and degreaser /cleaner, plus sand paper, and brushes and rollers...make sure you use a very,  very good quality brush...i roll it on then brush it out...the best result next to spraying.

figure 10 p/ft cost if you find the paint on sale and use a medium quality..you can spend a ton on paint, just look around..my bottom paint costs about 300 per gallon,

you dont say if its wood or fiberglass, gel coated ..etc

you dont say if its already prepped and ready to be  painted

If its wood? you can do it yourself

it takes time and effort to do it
