I'm currently attending another CSU (San Bernardino) and I REALLY want to go to SJSU in the Spring. I have a 2.3 and am a lower division student, so my high school GPA will be factored too. I had a 2.5 out of high school, and an 1810 on my SATs and a 26 on my ACT.

How hard or easy is it going to be for me to get into San Jose State? I think I'll DIE if I'm stuck at CSUSB for a full year! Best answer get's 10 points!!!

  1. Just take a deep breath.  You will not, in fact, die if you have to be at CSUSB for another year.  The best thing for you do do here is to contact SJ State and find out what their entrance requirements are.  Ask for all the information you need and then you'll know how to proceed.

  2. I actually think you had a chance of getting into SJSU if you applied right out of high school. The SAT score is good.

It is harder in general to transfer from a 4 year university to another 4 year university because you dont need to transfer to get a bachelors degree. However, i still suggest that you try because SJSU does take CSU transfers (i guess....) maybe you can also increase your 2.3 GPA before you apply.
