The Chinese army again fired on peace protester on Monday August 18, in the Kham region in eastern Tibet and reported to have been killed 140. Chinese are killing Tibetan during Olympics. How hard will China crackdown on Tibet after Olympic when there is less pressure from International Community.

Anyways I don't believe anything coming from the exile group since they already lied about their death number in 1950-1959 which 2 prominent Tibetan activists say it is an exaggeration.

Good, I hope they crack down hard.  God knows the US National Guard will kick some *** if some fools try to protest and declare independence to form the new Republic of California.  Separatists are treasonists, they deserve everything they get.  And some of them are cold blooded terrorists as well.

The only source for "140 Tibetans being killed" is from Dalai Lama.

I personally think that he is a coward. He just makes up story, speaks in public as if he's representing all the Tibetans. What has he done? He hasn't contributed anything. What he wants is just fame. He's just using the western world media. To the western media - Wake up please!

Tibet was run by a theocratic regime which a medieval serf style system which was akin to slavery. Anything China do to the Tibetan people is not as bad as if it was independent state.

Ok are you kidding me?? Most of American media is extremely bias towards China you know and they try to brainwash their people!

You known China has invested almost $US50Billions to increase the living standards of Tibetans and it actually works from a life expectancy of 45 to now just over 60 and the Chinese goverment provides welfare payments to them and no tax.

The chinese goverment has done so much for them yet a few still revolt just to get attention from overseas. I dont understand why they do this???

Tibet has been apart of China before the United States was even formed and China has saved Tibetan's from the slavery of the lamas.

have you ever been in Tibet within the 30 years? Do you know anything about there? Tibet was, and has been a part of China. what kind of benefits can you get from a separation. Do you think the westerners really respect and appreciate your culture from their deep blood or bones? considering the Chinese culture and Indian culture are sometimes weird in their eyes. I don't know but i hope China is ready for the wrath of God if they do. I don't think the earthquake they just got hit with after their last scuffle with them was just nature. 3 days after their last fight with Tibet? Just watch and see what happens
