Question:

How hard will an Infinity Basslink Sub hit?

If i put some bassy rap through a Basslink 200 w, will it rumble the inside of my F-150? I'm afraid of too much bass seeing how i will be sitting right directly in front of the sub. I was thinking 400 watts or less. My second option is the kicker cvt.

  1. you need to find out the rms power that is the true power what it will pump out hope that helps

  2. Based on the way your question is worded, the Basslink is not for you.  It's good for those looking to add a little low end to a pre-existing audio system but if you're looking to play mainly rap, go with a traditional sub/enclosure/amp route.  You'll be happier in the long run.

  3. Get the Kicker cvt but i have 2 cvr's and they pound one would be nice in your truck.

  4. I had one of these and they are made so cheap, the PLASTIC box fell apart in only 3 months and it always sounded like doo-doo.

  5. the Infinity Basslink is not made to hit. it is made to just add some nice low end to a system that already has a good amount of high and mid range. if you want some thing that will hit then you will need to go with a better sb. if you want to stay shallow mount then i would recomend that kicker you were looking at, there is a kenwood shallow mount and a rockford fosgate shallow mount sub.
