How hard will it be for me to learn how to snowboard?

I'm 13 and I'll be 14 in January. I've been skiing for 7 years and I want to learn to snowboard. I'm a pretty good skier. Will it be hard for me to learn since I've been skiing for a long time? Also how many private lessons should I take before I go into a group lesson with other people?

I'm also a big skier and just turned 15 with you're expierence on the slopes I'd say it would take you 1-2 years to get to the intermediate stage. I suggest you just rent or buy a board and take a week or so of lessons.

LOL. You will be fine with 2 lessons.Just go enjoy the board, although you should stick to the twin sticks since you have 7 years of experience.
