I am totally in love with an Israeli man who must move there. Please set aside all judgments and just answer the question...I usually would not go to such lengths for a man but he is really, really wonderful and I love his family

  1. Shouldnt be that hard Marry him learn hebrew and be happy.

  2. You will never be accepted.

  3. You would be fine. Don't let propaganda and media blasphemy twist your interpretation of Israel. It's a beautiful, nice, understanding country. Christianity is actually a major religion there and there's a significant community of Christians along with a stunning collection of churches. There's nothing to be afraid of, especially nonacceptance.

**And Hebrew, while a hard language to learn, is taught in many places. Most of the community can speak English fluently in major cities, however.

  4. Hardship is relative to the person, so not knowing you I wouldn't have a clue.

I learned 5 languages and traveled the world and had fun but it can also be h**l. AND when it's all said and done and you do go back, you aren't like them any more and you'll never be.

Having said this, you aren't going to a normal place either, there's a suicide bomber case almost every day in Israel. I know the news seem so far away but it is real blood and guts and terror and perhaps you shouldn't burn your bridges.

Just go there for a 3 months trial and then see if you can turn it into a six months and then a year.

  5. If you marry him,no problem. Otherwise immigration by Christians and all other faiths is prohibited; you must be jewish on the matrilinear side going back four generations.
