  1. not that hard hun my sister has this and she got pregnant about 8 times with 4 live births. talk to your ob about this and they can help you

  2. easier then with unexplained infertility!

at least with PCOD they know thats the problem and can generally fix it, at least get you ovulating.

your dr. will put you on clomid which has a great statistic rate..

here's a great site for people with PCOS  http://www.soulcysters.com/

  3. I don't know about statistics by my sister has this and she gets all the symptoms and was told by her doctor she would not be able to have children. She didn't use any birth control because she figured the doctor said she couldn't get pregnant. Well she did, her daughter is 5 years old now.

    good luck

  4. it's def. possible, talk to your doctor about taking Clomid or Metformin...many women with PCOS get pregnant with it, you can read more about this and find other women who have gotten pregnant with Clomid and ask questions to doctors online for free, try fertilityties.com

    good luck!!

  5. well it dint seem hard for me at all....THANK GOD!!! i was diagnosed with it when i was 17 yrs n took some medication...may be glucophage n all, similar to metformin...but i remember taking it very EASY n not worrying abt it much coz i dint know it could lead to fertility pblms at that time....lol....but my mom made sure i get the entire treatment....so any way....i was over wt too....lost some wt in the last 3 yrs n forgot abt pcos....lol...i mean i dont know if it was completely over or not, that is never got chked again....my main symptom of pcos was very irregular periods....after losing wt n some meds i guess...i got my periods regular so forgot completely abt pcos....lol

ANYWAY,now  m 23 yrs....married last yr n pregnant ....so it took almost 6 months for me to concieve...we started soon after marriage...no protection at all from day 1!...

so i dont see any pblm with pcos....ALL THIS SAID .... pcos ranges on the level of severity....so get urself thoroughly checked....atleast this pblm CAN be treated!!!GOODLUCK!!

  6. how severe is it? i read an article on a pcos website that said that women who have cysts but don't have the other symtoms such as facial hair, acne etc have a similar fertility to women without pcos. also, are you overweight? i've read loads of times that a woman has lost pounds, and conceived the next month.
