How has 9/11 changed the world?

Question

In what ways has the world been effected by September 11?

One example would be, airport security has increased dramatically.

I am not looking for how 9/11 has affected people personally, just globally?

i think that america together has become closer a little bit and people have become more patriotic. And right after it happened everyone wanted to help and be part of the solution. And i think it help the people of america realize that america should stick together and that we all have something in common and its that we are all american.
