How has American pop culture influenced art throughout the world?

. How are influences from American movies, comics, or consumer culture evident in

the art of another country?

Art is so diverse and there are so many different types, I think it may have helped expand it and get more modern art out there.  Maybe more realistic rather than abstract.  Also whatever the movie stars tastes are seems to influence others and what they want as well... if it is good for them, it's good for me.
