    What do you think?

  2. Their insane tyrannical leader was taken out of power. The people now have a say in their government. Most of Iraq enjoys relative peace. Iraq is no longer a safe haven for terrorists. The war in Iraq has added stability to the middle east and in turn to the entire world.

For a certain political party in the US there is much to be gained by portraying the war in Iraq as a mistake and a failure. They will do their best to convince people that this is the case.

  3. nobody can they have not benefitted

  4. In the short run, no one historically ever benefits from war. In the long run there can be benefit. Look at Germany and Japan; both start the biggest war in the world and now both are enjoying the good life.

Oil is in demand and the supply is bountiful but not free. Here we are at $100 barrel and gold at $1000/oz. Iraq will prosper. One group will control the oil and it will flow and Iraqis will have a chicken in every pot, a car in every garage, AC, internet access, and shopping near by.

Iraq will benefit in the long run.
