How has Japanese food impacted on Australian food?

  1. The impact is not as great as some other cuisines (ie Italian, Chinese) but raw fish and sushi are now common place foods, nori rolls are one of the most popular lunch items in all Australian cities for office workers.

    Australia's most famous restaurant is Tetsuyas a fusion of Japanese and French ingredients and techniques, it is rated and one of the 10 best restaurants in the world


  2. j*p food has  had no impact on Aussie food in fact the local sushi shop in my area went out of business in less than a year.
