    very badly in acid rain.

    The Leaning tower is (I think) made of marble and is hence affected.

    Acid rain consists of oxides of nitrogen and sulphur.These oxides damage the monuments and buildings greatly by making it appear dull in its outlook and intervening in its elemental structure thereby weakening it from within .These oxides being corrosive in nature alter the properties of the material used for building these monuments thereby hampering them
