How has agriculture affected your life?

alrite. i have to have a whole page on explaining how agriculture has affected my life but just put it in your perspective. Its for my FFA class and its due friday! i have to do an oral presentation and i really need help!!!

I have farmed or worked in the agricultural sector all my life, so I guess it supports me and my family.  I have met some of the best people in this country, farmers, ranchers, dairymen, fertilizer/chemical dealers, teachers, elevator managers, etc.  People in ag are the best.

I get to eat the fruits of someone else's labor. Not just plants but meat and milk too.

think of pros and cons.  if we didn't have any agro at all, we'd all be hunters and gatherers still.  if we didn't have large-scale farms, we'd all have to grow our own food.  have you ever been grocery shopping.  think of the produce section and ask yourself what you would do if it weren't there.

You're lazy.  If you had to grow up on a farm you would think the same too.  This is the backbone of this country b/c without this industry there wouldn't be progress.-D

Agriculture affects our life because of our daily works. In our decisions their are some that can affects agriculture, example when we have   to have a group project we need to prove that it can be.

It has only affected my life in the way that my radio only picks up am, and the only station that comes in clearly is 550 Farm radio. Constantly with the wheat, the soy, the corn, and the pork belly reports. It is a wonder I don't have an accident on the highway, falling asleep from boredom.....zzzzzzz....huh? whazat? I'm up I'm up!!!

JUST SOME FOOD  FOR THOUGHT  ( PUN INTENDED)

TRADING AGRICULTURE WAS THE BEGINNING OF OUR ENTIRE ECONOMIC SYSTEM.  IT WAS LATER REPLACED WITH GOLD THEN MONEY.  

BETTER AND FASTER WAYS TO GROW AND BRING TO MARKET HAS EFFECTED THE INVENTION AND PATENT MARKET.

IMPORTS AND EXPORTS  OF AGRICULTURE IS THE BACKBONE OF ALL NATIONS FINANCING FROM WHEAT TO SPICES.

FOOD, SHELTER AND CLOTHING   ARE THE BASICS OF EXISTENCE AND NOTICE FOOD IS MENTIONED FIRST.  ALSO NOTE THAT SHELTER IS MADE FROM TREES AND CLOTHING FROM COTTON ( BOTH AGRICULTURE.

ROPE COMES FROM TREES.  RUBBER  JUST TO NAME A FEW AND YOU SHOULD NAME MORE.  ANIMALS EXIST BECAUSE OF IT.

( ADD SOME HISTORY FOR YOUR COUNTRY OR STATE) LOOK THAT UP ON NET.  MONEY FROM AGRICULTURE  BUYS MOST EVERYTHING ELSE.  



IT IS THE ESSENSE OF MAN'S EXISTANCE.   CAN YOU EVEN NAME SOMETHING AGRICULTURE DOESN'T EFFECT?

To sum it up completely in very few few words, it has  kept all of us from starving to death, and indirectly supplied my husband with a well paying year round job.
