How has computers improve and help us in our daily life?

i really need help on this topic as i need to write an essay about this and marks are counted in my exam results. please help? just stated who has computers improve and help us. The more points you give, the higher chance of having the best answer.=) thanks.

Let me share with you how computer has help in my life:

1. I have to send some materials to prospects in my line of work, used to send them by post which cost me abt a dollar per copy, takes a few days or weeks to reach or may just disappear into thin air. I had to write the names, addresses by hand and highlight some details in the documents by hand with different colors which is boring. Takes me about a day to send out about 10 copies.

Now, I can easily send out 20 copies by emails if I wish to, with Microsoft Office prepared documents, all details nicely done and highlighted clearly with different colors, in 1 hr and it takes only a few seconds to reach my prospects. In case they are not received, I can resend them as many times as possible.

So with computer, efficiencies increases many fold in terms of money, time, effort, presentation etc.

2. I use computer to pay all my utilities bills in 15 mins which would take me more than an hour were I to go to the post office to make payment in queue.

3. I read the latest local and international news, without having to subscribe to newspaper. The news is faster than newspapers, can be as soon as they happen or live. Not only that in some countries, the press is regulated and not allowed to publish many things especially truths about/against the government, but there are many online news portal/ personal blogs that reveal unpublished truth, so internet allows one to access them.

4. I can get in touch famlily members/friends/relatives anytime all over the world at minimal or no cost at all via messengers/skype...etc

5. I can talk even play games with people whom I would otherwise never meet in a gazillion years.

6. I can access whole lots of information that I need or don't need for a life time. Just Google it and they are all there.

7. I can follow the stock market without leaving home, thus saving me some petrol money ;). I'm also able to track the development of international markets, currency trading, commodity prices which will affect the local market.

8. I can help a cute gal like you in your homework or exams =)

I use my computer to listen to messages preached in churches all over the world, some of them only a few days old or even live. This was impossible before the invention of computer and internet.

10. This actually can be considered an extension of point No. 1. I used to go around places to source prospects by approaching the shops asking for only their HQ contact nos. That usually take a lot of traveling, walking, time and effort. Used to get like the most 20 contacts in a day. But now with a few clicks of the mouse, I can get more than that with more necessary details like address, email, company profiles etc, by visiting their websites, all that in the comfort of my home.

11.  This is something I don't do but young ppl like to do i.e. socializing through blogs, myspace, facebook..etc where they share their thoughts/interest/problems with peers. Not for me.

12. Here's something I wish I can do. Making money online. Yup, online marketing. Some are making as much as $500,000+ a year even more. Wish I can make 10% of that! No cost/risk at all. Affiliate marketing allows you to sell products and earn commssions by referring customers to them through your blogs/websites.

Computers today are one of the important things we are using. They have helped a lot in compiling a lot data which used to be in hard records. One of the uses or benefits of computers is that they are able to provide and retrieve information so quickly so they have increased the pace of our work. The increase in the speed of work has helped us to do many things with less resources like in past a lot of manpower was used for record keeping and files and other things were made to keep the records saved.

This is one use of computers in our lives other than that computers has helped us to work with machines which have the ability to produce the best quality of products with maximum speed and efficiency. In today's world it is necessary that to cater for such a heavy population things are made at the higher pace with best quality, so it is possible with the help of computer that we are able to cater for the need of quantity and quality of products required in daily life.

Computer is also helping us in education of children, it has enabled us to get the information form one part of the world to the other at a very rapid pace. So in summary computer today is in every walk of life, and is helping us a lot in developing at a fast pace.

That is very easy Computers has help out alot, in our daily lives where many of us can't live without one, by useing computers and going on the internet, we can find any information on a person we want, like black history month, why go on the Libary, when you could look up a important a african american in american history, but that not all as you can use the internet to look up current evens from around the world . without being in that country

Also most of use use our computers to look up past events,  and then there the other reason on how computers help our lives, by useing computers we can check up on the weather,  before we go to work or school. so by checking the weather we already know if it's going  to Rain or Snow. or it's could be sunny. then there  contracting other family members, where many of us use our computers to  text our family to see how there going, when  member of you family is so far away living in a difference state or country

Las tbut not  least by useing our computers to shop on the internet we can find the product we are looking for. without going inside the retail store to look for it, only to find out it's sold out. so by shoping on the internet it saves some a lot of trouble. from looking for something that is not there
