  1. it most certainly has, along with other countries, we now have fantastic olive oil, a great mediterrean diet -  lots of fabulous recipies and restaurants, the best garlic prawns and mussel dishes via Captain Torres in Sydney the oldest and best Spanish Restaurant in Sydney ,  try it you will not regret it

    cheers

  2. ...i'm australian

    ummmmm i dunno lol

i dont know much about spanish food

i just know about spainish donuts lol

something called tapas and they're like little entrees

and i think they do suckling pig

none of them really relate to 'australian' food

    what is australian food anyway???

...a barbeque cos i guess that's like suckling pig

  3. Any influence to the early "settlers" would have been very  welcome to the bread and water served in the prison ships...I'm sure...i doubt if you'll find a bigger influence from Spain than the many other sea-going and colonial countries...Maybe I'm wrong but as an American cook I tune into their cooking channels often.
