The tour has stood by Woods, with PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem speaking out in defence of the troubled 33-year-old. In a conference call with the media Finchem expressed certainty that the world No. 1 could come back from his current problems. "I have every expectation that Tiger Woods ... is going to rejoin this relationship with golf and be a contributing factor to it. He by his own statement has a lot of work to do to get to that point with the issues and family questions that he's got to deal with, but I fully anticipate that he'll be back," said the Commissioner.
