Well they saved South Korea from the communists with the peacekeepers in the Korean War(filled with American troops) and they offer food programs but that's pretty much it.Before the hippies hijacked the UN in the 60's it was pretty good but now it's a near useless bureaucratic mess.

The UN Security Council is controlled by the same criminals who caused all the wars and starvation so it's not too useful. If they would get rid of the veto powers of a few countries it might be more useful.

Peace Keeping. Peace Talks. Resolutions.  Proviging food to starving nations to prevent situations from becoming worse.

Ratified The Charter  against Genocide to make it a crime against Humanity. Signed The Human Rights Charter. Organized Cease Fires between nations and monitored ceasefire lines. Checked on how well countries did live up to human rights standards.

It's disgusting. Veto powers are ridiculous. Basically, if something is illegal, immoral and wrong a country can still do it if it wants because it happens to be powerful. Great system.

I love the idea of the UN, but it needs changing. We need to stop war. We should've gone "NO Bush and Blair, that's stupid, wrong and illegal!"

Instead it sits by and makes silly suggestions, like recomending the UK to have a referendum on the Monarchy. WTF?! There was a genocide in Rwanda, oh, fine. There's an institution that brings in 100 million pounds for the UK every year that 80% or the population love, this needs to be stopped!

What is needed is for The United States to get out of the United Nations And for The United Nations to get out of the United States. Do this before they take over with the help of Obama and his global poverty bill giving them a portion of our GNP to steal and waste.

It stood by and watched and then left Rwanda when the genocide started.  It took photographs of the Israeli soldiers being kidnapped by Hezbollah terrorists on the Lebanon/Israeli border.  They are the world's best spectators.
