  1. Yes at 17mpg i tend not to go far unless i have too so i have dropped most journeys or combine them into 1.

  2. I am being a lot more careful when it comes to driving my car.  I try to run as many errands as possible each time I drive the car.  Currently I spend about $5.50 in gas each day I drive to and from work.  $27.50 each week, $110 per month.  Just for gasoline.  Looking forward to warmer weather so I can ride my motorcycle.  I will be able to cut my commuting costs by about 50%.  Also with the warmer weather I will be able to run some of my errands on my bicycle.  Then my gas costs are zero.

Just talked with my brother, diesel was $4.09 in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago.  Yikes!!

  3. I work a little more overtime to compensate, but since I can do that at the beginning of the day, there's less impact. But impact, nevertheless.

  4. It really hasn't effected me too much. I drive a little slower now and keep my car in low gears.
