  1. Maybe the ones that prefer blond's also prefer hairless people.  Most blond, blue eyed people don't have as much hair on thei arms and legs, it's only a softer yet child like look.

Most people born with very blond hair naturally end up darker as they get older.  It's not any more beautiful than any good looking person, it's just a different look.

  2. its beautiful but only to certain people. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. and it probably started as being known as beautiful because it used to be very uncommon so when it was seen it was like wow thats different so you wanted it because no one else had it. making it beautiful i think.

  3. marilyn monroe

  4. Who is "the average person"?  Are you talking about "the average North American" or  "the average European" or "the average white Australian"?  Or are you suggesting that "the average African" or "the average Asian" or "the average South American" regards blond hair and blue eyes as the ideal of beauty?

  5. i wasnt aware that it was.

  6. Perhaps one of the movie stars had blond hair and blue eyes...

But I don't think blond hair as beautiful, it can be on some.

I think brown hair with highlights (blond or red) is the most beautiful.  And green eyes.

  7. I've been a blue eyed blond all my life and I am only now finding out it is the "average person's" idea of beautiful! Couldn't you or someone have told me this when it might have meant something to me???  Like before I became a decrepit old bat of 63?? I feel so cheated!

Seriously, what ever gave you that idea? When I was young I thought Sophia Loren was the most beautiful woman. Really still do and she is definitely not a blue eyed blond. I think Oprah has skin to die for and a fabulous smile! She is definitely not a blue eyed blond. Marilyn Monroe was a huge hit with the men but it had very little to do with her hair or her eyes - it was her beautiful mammary glands.

I do not think any one particular group of people is more beautiful than another. I DO think beauty comes from within and a truly good person appears beautiful even if their facial characteristics are rather plain. Similarly , people with great facial features who are mean or vindictive or superficial invariably end up not being someone known for their beauty - people who know them fail to see the facial beauty.

If you are up to taking a little advice from an old gal, judge people by their inner beauty first - it's a more accurate gauge than blue eyes and blond hair will ever be.
