What are some things the media has influenced.... just examples of things the media is trying to tell us is right

The media tends to push certain agendas based on their own collective feelings about social issues.

They have pushed for acceptance of complete sexual freedom for several years.  

They also tend to push the idea that individual freedom usurps most societal mandates.  In other words, if it feels good, do it.
