  1. Not affected at all.

    Actually a Russian and a Georgian shared the podium in one of the events (the Russian got silver and the Georgian got bronze), and they hugged in friendship, sending a signal of peace to their countries.

  3. Neither, but Georgia has recently asked China for vocal aid in persuading Russia away, considering close ties with one another. From all this Human Rights abuse c**p going on about China, i guess they're being eyed closely on whether they will help or not.

  4. It hasn't affected neither. Did you see the Georgian and Russian hug in the shooting competition? Now that is the true Olympic spirit. No politics just sports.

  5. Bush had to go back to the U.S. to make a speech. So no Bush= more peace in Beijing.
