  1. I drive an hour and a half everday to and from work.  So, yes it has affected me.  Of course, I still have to have gas so it has affected other areas.  We are not going out to eat as much, not as many movies, less at grocery store, less at drug stores, also trying to cut down on utilities.  I am also doing errands on the way to work or home as opposed to going out on saturdays or sundays.  We live about 20 minutes either way from any type of shopping.  My puppy is not getting as many toys as she used to.  Birthday gifts are not as much as they once were.  GIfts to each other are not as much.  But I know it could be worse, so I am trying to handle this gracefully.....

  2. I have to hear everyone complain about the high prices.

  3. We became poorer. I can't get anything I want now, because my dad needs gas to go to work.

  4. It has affected me since I have to travel atleast 20 miles on a daily basis, and that's just around town.  20-25miles daily affects your wallet.

Let's say I spend 10 dollars a day, multiply that by 30-31 days out of the month, then i have to spend 300 dollars each month on gas alone.  When just a few years back, i spend around 150 175 on gas each month.

  5. Well i can't really go out as much as liked to because everything so far from where i live.

  6. it just plain sucks ! plus my home was broken into over the weekend.... i am seeing a rise in crime everywhere do to the economy (bush) !
