Effect in elections, in popularity. Is it superficial to judge by names? How big of a superficial factor is it?

Repuations of names, like the Kennedy's are relevant.

Does Barack's middle name really effect his campaign?

  1. To me, it is a big deal.

    The name Adolf is still not deemed an unacceptable first name even after over fifty years has passed since Hitler's atrocities.

    Attila cannot be distinguished from the concept of oppression.

    And, names say much about a parent's philosophy and view of the world.  Mr. Obama's name is a direct reflection of the heritage and culture of his father.  And, when Obama's full name is elucidated, certainly, a mental picture of the influences of his heritage comes to the forefront of the frontal lobe.

    We should measure a man by his deeds, not his name.  But, in the real world, that doesn't always happen.
