Question:

How healthy is subway really?

I just found out that a 6" sub can be anywhere between 400 and 500 calories. That seems to me to be a little much. Any recommendations on how I should eat or what fast food or "good food fast" joints are better for me?

  1. i hate subway

  2. there was a long black hair in one of my stale subway subs :/

  3. i got told theres more salt in a sub way sub than in five packets of crisps!!

  4. it depends on what u put on it

  5. Subway is better than a burger place, but the sodium content is quite high.  Even with mayo and cheese the subs generally contain less fat and calories than say a Whopper meal.  It mostly depends on what kind of meat you get, so if you're that concerned with it, stay away from the BMT, tuna and meatball subs.

  6. try researching this on google and wikipedia

  7. Subway is a little healthy. Of course, it's much healthier than eating a Big Mac or Whopper. It basically depends on how much stuff you decide to put on top of your sub. It's almost half the calories compared to eating the Big Mac or Whopper. I don't think that there are too many places healthier than that that are fast food or "good food fast."

  8. i like subway aswell nd i would recommend tht you ask for plenty of salad in ur subway or go to pizza hut nd have a salad dinner with chicken

  9. If you get white or wheat bread, hold the mayo, or any other high cal and fat dressings, don't add cheese, and get lean meat such as ham, turkey, or roasted chicken breast, then yes is is very healthy compared to getting a burger and fries.
