Question:

How healthy is thai food?

I love thai food and have such a craving for it but lately have been watching what I eat. I know thai food is healthier than chinese food but how much more? I usually order a spicy chicken and vegetable dish which has a very light feeling to it (if that makes sense).

  1. Thai food is much better for you than Chinese... Chinese tends to be deep fried, and thai is more steamed and panfried in MUCH less oil. Thai has spices in it too, like cumin and spicy peppers.  Those are awsome for boosting your metabolism...


  2. well thai food is very healthy for you it has good vitamin c if you eat the pepers or order hot and its much healthier than chinese....

  3. Well sorry i dont think its that healthy ! i can eat 5 plates of noodles and still b hungry !  Plus its tastes wierd to my likings !

  4. If you stick to items that are heavy on veggies and lighter on meat (Thai food is great for this) avoid excesses of noodles and rice, you can easily live on Thai food and have a good diet.  Green papaya salad is on of my favorite Thai foods and it is healthy as can be.  

    It is never one cuisine or one food that is not healthy for you, it is how much you indulge in that food.  Everything is good for you even if it is just your soul you are feeding at that moment.
