Question:

How healthy is this dish?

Regularly now, we have been chopping:

1 Red onion, 3 garlic cloves, brocolli, spinach, carrots, red pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper, zucchini and tomatoes....

And putting them into a stir-fry pan until they are tender. Then serving with a portion of fish.

I wanted to find out the nutritional values of this dish, and whether it is really healthy being cooked this way.

Thanks in advance.

  1. very healthy, as long as the fish isn't fried, and you are not using a ton of oil or butter to cook the veggies in !

  2. It would be even healthier if you steamed all of that, with some spices (no oil or butter).  But either way, that's a pretty healthy meal!

  3. Or, if you do fry for taste, use a healthy oil to do it with...Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Peanut Oil...admittidly, these are twice or more expense than vegetable/canola/sunflower oils, but they are many times more healthy.
