  1. Hm well if this is a DIET? (which it shouldn't be at age 14), then i wouldn't say you'll lose weight..however it's not too bad. The protein shake looks good, but instead of a sticky bun Cinnamon roll thing, why not have oatmeal? (the REAL kind, not the instant) it may seem nasty but it is SO healthy and it will leave you full for 3+ hours! I like adding blueberries and almonds to mine. and if you want it sweeter than add honey but no sugar. Your lunch seems OKAY but it's very high in carbs and there's no protein in there..instead i would go for a sandwich or a salad? a nice turkey lettuce and tomato sandwich on whole wheat bread can be so good and filling too. and it has protein, veggies and healthy carbs. Your snack seems good.. hopefully it was a homemade smoothie though, cause the ones bought in the store are always artificially flavored and aren't as healthy as they seem. The packaged crackers are good (it would be good to switch to wheat thins  if your crackers are made with "enriched flour" though..) your dinner is good! i mean subway isn't IDEAL in terms of the healthiest dinner ever but it's a well balanced dinner. the ham provides protein and some fat, the bread provides carbs, and the baked chips are a better choice than fried or other greasy chips. However, i would recommend having most of your simple carbs (such as bread, rice, etc.) before 2 pm  because your body will have more time to break them down and digest. for dinner tomorrow i suggest you have more vegetables. But overall, not a bad day! it's impressive that you are even paying attention to your health at this age..keep up the good work!

  2. sounds fine to me.

  3. This is not healthy at all! Don't eat the Cinnamon roll, it's loaded with calories, fat and sugar! It's a horrible thing to eat, instead try having a poached egg with a slice of whole grain toast, some fruit on the side, and a glass of skim milk. That is a way healthier breakfast.

And for lunch, don't eat the soft pretzel or the baked fries. I'm sure you know why fries are bad, but the soft pretzel really doesn't have much nutrition in them, they're really high in sodium and tend to be high calorie. Instead have a sandwich with 2 slices of whole grain bread, tbsp mustard, 1 slice of fresh chicken (not processed), 2 lettuce leafs, two tomato slices, and 5 cucumber slices, along with some skim milk.

And for dinner, subway really isn't the healthiest option, try making you're own sandwich like the one I listed above, or make a chef salad with salsa as dressing with a mixture of a bunch or veggies and a little bit of meat. But seriously, you really need to improve you're diet. This is unhealthy and being healthy is the most important thing. You'll feel more energetic and thinner!

  4. protein shake- i guess that's okay

sticky bun cinamon roll thing- HORRIBLE

Soft pretzel w. mustard- not good

    baked fries- for real? NO

    fruit smoothie- good

    pacakged crackers- NO

    subway- healthy

    chips- try apple

you eat too much packaged stuff... not good at all

  5. i would do with out the pretzle mustard, but other than that your good.

  6. uhm, not very healthy.

actUally, not healthy at all. =\

try taking out the cinamon roll, the protien shake, the pretzal, the baked fries, the fruit smootie, and the chips.

the sandwich could be okay as long as its not drenched in sauces and is whole wheat, and the crackers arent a bad choice for a snack.

the rest should go! try picking alternative and healthier foods tomorrow.

    good luck.

  7. protein shake - not horrible, but most people get enough protein in their diet without having to use supplemental protein. also pay attention to the number of calories

sticky bun cinamon roll thing - bad. mostly refined sugar, high in carbohydrates with little nutritive value.

    lunch

soft pretzel with mustard - again, empty calories, high carbohydate

baked fries- baked makes them slightly better than fried, but still not great - more carbs, fat

fruit smoothie,- usually full of sugar

packaged crackers- not bad, depending on the type of cracker. read the label

subway ham sandwhich - this was probably the most balance meal of the day, assuming you put veggies on it and not too much mayo

baked chips- a better choice then fried chips.

Overall your diet seems full of empty calories, too many simple carbohydrates, very high in sugar, low in dairy products, and really lacking in fruits and veggies.

    Try these instead:

    Breakfast Options

Orange juice with Bowl of cereal or oatmeal and Banana

    Lunch Ideas

Grilled chicken salad with reduced fat dressing, whole wheat roll

Turkey and cheese sandwich with baby carrots and baked potato chips

    Pick snacks like:

    Reduced fat yogurt smoothie

    Cheese and wheat crackers

    Fruit snacks

    Raisins

    Peanut butter and celery

    Rice cakes

    String cheese
