  1. Im going to fly with American Airlines to Sweden and my bags can be 50 pounds each. Have a fun trip! :D

  2. if you are military it is 75 pounds, civilain is 50

  3. it really depends on what airline you're taking. different airlines have different weight limit. some airlines even charge you with every suitcase that you have. so you better call your airline and ask them for the weight limit for your flight. with hand carries, you need to check with them also. because they require you a certain size of hand carries now, and of course you need to follow the weight limit for hand carries too.

i went to somewhere in South East Asia last May with China Airlines (but i didnt go to China, lol) and i was allowed to bring 60 lbs per suitcase, with a maximum of 2 suitcase and 1 hand carry.

  4. Usually airlines limit you to two checked bags at 50 pounds each, one carryon, and one personal item (like a purse). If you are a bit over 50 pounds on one, and under on another, it shouldn't matter. Even if you are a pound or so over, they won't really care. They will probably just mark your bag as "heavy" and send it on through.

  5. You are flying with Lufthansa., but what is the connecting flight, United?   You need to check with your airlines... I flew with Lufthansa., but I had a connecting flight through American Airlines.

Your baggage weight limit is 50 lbs... Read this link if you have a connecting flight with American

If it is a Lufthansa flight with Lufthansa directly  check this website link..

If you still are not sure call your airlines.
