How heavy is a chandelier?

I want to know if I can hang it on my ceiling or would it fall down? And can I get a lamp company to hang it for me? How much would that cost?

How long is a piece of string ? We have no idea how big this is , or what it`s made out of. How can we tell you how heavy it is ? If you are at the store ask a salesperson , or look at the box it came in . Some where on the box it will give you the tare weight. Do you have a lamp that you are already replacing? If not you may need a pro to install wires and a mounting location for your lamp. Usually a handyman can help you with this , but sometimes it`s best left to the pro`s

It could be anywhere from 5 pounds to hundreds of pounds. It depends on which one you choose.

a lamp company? Does that mean the lighting company you buy it from? Perhaps. Some stores may do installation. Or hire an electrician to do it, probably for a couple hundred bucks.   Why don't you use the phone book and telephone?

It all depends on the material use to construct the chandelier and the number of tiers. Before installing you will need to get a brace that gets screwed onto the box.
