How heavy (metric) is a VHS video tape?

Approximately only; without case. Obviously different durations would affect the weight (more tape inside = more weight), but a standard 3 hour tape, I guess? Doesn't need to be too exact. Thanks :)

I dunno but definitely way less than 1/2 kilo.

i think it's about 1/2 kilogram.

a standard NTSC T120 load in cardboard sleeve is 8.8 oz or 250 gram. the tape length is 246 meters.
